The Órgiva art scene is taking centre stage again, with Artists’ Network Alpujarra (ANA – the artists group I belong to) who are putting on a Hot Winter Show, with 34 diverse international artists. The venue is upstairs at the old town hall in Órgiva, Granada, Spain. Órgiva – if you don’t know it already, is one of those special towns, that attracts a lot of artists.
Even though I won’t make the opening, I will be present on Tuesday 27th from 5-8pm to give an artists talk and discuss the art.
I do recommend making it to the opening night though if you can though, as it will be full of the best of the Órgiva art scene – artists and art lovers alike! And this show promises to be full of little gems.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm until 8pm.
Saturday and Thursday from 11am until 2pm.
The opening night 16th November 2018 from 7pm.
The closing night party 15th December 7–11pm
Here are some photographs, taken by Fred Shively, from the first day of setting up the show. We have 3 rooms to play with and it’s a great team to be connected to.
