This piece is fun. I made her when I was creating some branding for a corset maker. She's wearing my old, well loved, stripy tights and turquoise boots. This piece was bought by a collector in Holland.
This is a 20cm tall, raku sculpture of a woman with a fox head and tale. She is wearing my long time favourite 1930's silk blouse, which sadly disintegrated a few years ago. She has gone to live in a collection in Canada, where I know she is being appreciated.
This A1 watercolour was painted in 2012, after witnessing a firework display from high up on a mountain looking down to the dark coastline. Fireworks were being set off from boats and all around was dark except for the vibrant colours along the coast line.
This is one of a series of A3 abstract watercolours about the colour, noise and energy of where the land meets the sea. The colours are about the bustle of people on land and in the sea, umbrellas, towels and then the plain blue and yellow are spaces where there is no one.
